Job Description

Overnight In Room Dining Coordinator
You are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Have full knowledge of all beverage lists
  • Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
  • Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
  • Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Follow daily assigned employee shift side work
  • Paces all In Room Dining order distribution and deliveries to our standards
  • Monitor order/food pick-up/tray assembly/delivery time
  • Assist inspecting hotel hallways/landings for In Room Dining equipment
  • Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies properly stored and organized
  • Follows hotels cleanliness guides
  • Follows hotel uniform and grooming standards
  • Complete overnight floor walk for tray removal and door knob menu retrieval
  • Answer guest calls, take orders, ring into POS system
  • Close checks in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • In Room Dining Department operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, candidates must have flexibility/availability to work varying shifts
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
