Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, analysis, and verification & validation of autonomous vehicle system architecture.

  • Drive cross-functional teams to develop autonomous driving systems.

  • Define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performance.

  • Develop data collection and analysis pipelines to support verification & validation processes.

  • Partner with the safety team to define safety goals based on the ODD, hazards, and risks.

  • Create and manage requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture.

  • Shape system behaviors for critical safety scenarios and ensure robust designs.

  • Identify and communicate risks while coordinating solutions and mitigations across teams.

  • Be open to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience with autonomous systems and safety critical systems.

  • Hands-on experience with systems engineering (e.g., V Model, requirements documentation, traceability, verification & validation).

  • Python and SQL basic proficiency.

  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams in developing and deploying robotic systems or autonomous vehicles with safety-critical components.

  • Functional safety and SOTIF basic experience.

  • Excellent ability to communicate technical issues and solutions across all levels of the organization.

  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage deeply and enjoy the work.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, etc.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with safety standards like ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ISO 3691).
