Compliance and Development Specialist

ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our operations comply with regulatory standards while also contributing to the development of workplace policies and training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures to support organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Implement training programs for employees on compliance-related topics, enhancing their understanding of best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with departments to provide guidance on compliance issues and support their compliance-related initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management regarding compliance status and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on changes in compliance regulations and adapt policies and training programs as necessary.
  • Assist in the development of organizational strategies to enhance compliance and development initiatives.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
  • Masters Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong understanding of compliance principles and regulatory requirements applicable to federal contracts.
  • Compliance experience and certificates for CMMI and ISO, ITIL, and SDLC Full Stack development experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in creating training materials and conducting training sessions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with compliance management systems and audit processes.
  • Certifications in compliance (e.g., Compliance Certification Board, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess compliance risks and develop effective solutions.
