The ASSISTments Foundation is looking for a Senior K-12 Math Curriculum Designer to innovate and curate engaging math content for their educational platform, enhancing learning experiences for students nationwide.
Responsibilities: Oversee the design and development of K-12 math curriculum aligned with educational standards, collaborate with educators and product teams, and manage budget and resources for content creation.
Skills: Strong background in K-12 curriculum design, experience with digital platforms, knowledge of math education standards, excellent writing and communication skills, and familiarity with AI tools in education.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field, 7+ years of K-12 curriculum design experience, and prior knowledge of Illustrative Math is preferred; a Master's degree and a background in edtech would be advantageous.
Location: Remote work within the United States, no travel required.
Compensation: $90000 - $115000 / Annually
The ASSISTments Foundation is a growing non-profit that spun out of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019. Our founders, Cristina and Neil Heffernan, are former math teachers who could never find enough time to give students feedback and analyze data to plan instruction. They developed ASSISTments, a best-in-class math practice and assessment platform, to enable K-12 math teachers to assign high quality content and to use powerful data and reporting to better meet their students’ needs.
ASSISTments is the most rigorously studied and proven edtech solution on the market. The ASSISTments Foundation is focused on 1) scaling ASSISTments and 2) engaging in innovation and research, in partnership with the ASSISTments Lab @ WPI. We reached 95,000 students last year and are focused on accelerating this growth.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior K-12 Math Curriculum Designer to oversee strategic content development and curation for the ASSISTments platform. In this role, you will collaborate with educators, researchers, and product teams to ensure our platform supports best practices in teaching and learning, while fostering student engagement and mastery in mathematics. Your work will directly impact the educational experience of students across the country by creating innovative, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$115,000, with determination of the actual offer based upon level of experience and relevant skills.
