Digital Specialist - Trade Services

The Opportunity:

The Digital Specialist - Trade Services is responsible for maintaining and optimising digital marketing channels to drive engagement, conversions, and brand consistency across digital advertising, social media and websites. This role works across two brands – Laser® Plumbing and Electrical and Exceed® .They support the Marketing Manager on paid advertising, working with agencies to execute media plans, creative campaigns, and landing pages. They manage website content and performance, including SEO, tagging, analytics, and testing to enhance user experience. The role also manages local advertising for Franchise Owners through Google and Meta platforms. Critical to the role is effective sales channel management, customer experience enhancements, remarketing efforts, and performance analytics to maximise digital effectiveness.

Location: NZ Support Office & DC (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060)

Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 + years of experience in managing and executing digital marketing, performance marketing, or digital channel management
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or digital channel management
  • Practical experience through mid-level digital marketing roles is essential
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of content management systems (CMS), tagging, and performance tracking
  • Familiarity with online booking platforms, customer experience strategies, and remarketing techniques
  • Proven ability to analyse data, generate insights, and optimise digital marketing and channel performance
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies and align strategies
  • Experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic) and campaign execution
  • Ability to create, schedule, and analyse social media content across multiple platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Diplomas or certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, or Data Analytics may be acceptable with relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with paid media platforms, SEO, and analytics tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM systems)
  • Industry-recognised certifications that can enhance credibility:
    • Google Ads & Google Analytics (GA4) Certification
    • Meta (Facebook) Blueprint Certification
    • HubSpot Content Marketing or Inbound Marketing Certification
    • SEO certifications from SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google considered attractive
