This role

As our Communications Lead for Canada, you'll be a key advocate of all things brand-and-communications within Humi and Employment Hero. You'll be instrumental in shaping our external leadership positioning.

Your key focus areas will be:

1. Delivering an executive communications program for Humi, particularly the CEO and other regional leaders.

2. Driving significant media engagement and in turn, business results.

You'll work closely with multiple stakeholders including the regional leadership team in Canada as well as Employment Hero’s global marketing and communications function.

This will include

  • Designing and executing a media relations program that promotes business priorities and profiling of regional execs
  • Identifying executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social media opportunities 
  • Creating and writing content including articles, case studies, social media content and more that engages our target audiences and drives brand awareness
  • Partnering with global marketing, communications and product to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
  • Tracking and measuring results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes

Who you are

To thrive at Humi, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • 8+ years experience working in communications roles with extensive experience in executive communications.
  • Proven experience across the disciplines of communications planning, media relations, organic social and content development.
  • Previous experience in executive communications roles in multinational organizations or agencies.
  • Proven experience being in-house in a communications role with a scale up organization.
  • The ability to confidently liaise with senior stakeholders and business decision-makers, and hold yourself accountable.
  • Curiosity, a team-player mindset, and the ability to build supportive and collaborative relationships.
  •  An interest in and love for small business and employment success!
