Job Description

This Fortune 500 financial services company is seeking an Operations Analyst, Hotel Onboarding to join one of the largest multi-channel consumer travel agencies in the world. This team is responsible for delivering premium travel and lifestyle services to Card Members through a network of over 6,000 global travel advisors in 23 markets around the world.

The travel team business provides exclusive access to best-in-class travel and lifestyle programs and benefits, extraordinary service, and unrivaled expertise to Card Members seeking leisure or business travel.

This team and service sets the standard for luxury hotel programs through our Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection programs, and has been innovating and evolving programs, benefits and offerings ever since to drive value for our customers and deepen their relationship with the company brand. In partnership with 1000+ best-in-class travel suppliers, the team delivers unparalleled travel benefits to premium card members; optimizing the delivery of products and services through different channels, including our customer contact centers, market specific travel websites and evolving digital solutions.

 The Details:

  • Location: New York, NY OR Phoenix, AZ
  • Duration: 6-month contract
  • Hybrid: 3 days in office within Lower Manhattan, NY OR Phoenix, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

Support the team in onboarding of new hotel program properties including:

  • Contracting new properties involving knowledge of hotel rate loading and room inventory, review and Identify inconsistencies in the hotel room type names and match them in the contract within the clients contracting system of record.
  • Facilitate testing with partners to ensure end-to-end function of rate loading process.
  • Support with the post-auditing processes to ensure proper set up of accounts.
  • Evaluate the audit report to ensure the matching set up of room types, policies, and promotions.
  • Monitor and manage property escalations.

Job may require flexibility as role evolves

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Knowledge and experience within the Online Travel Agency landscape
  • Knowledge of SABRE (preferred), Apollo, Amadeus or Worldspan.

Qualifications: 

  • 1-3+ years of experience in an analytical position supporting Travel programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention-to-detail, flexibility, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong operational knowledge of MS Products including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a white space with varying day to day responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate superior project management skills.
  • A passion for the luxury and travel industries.
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Information

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The starting pay range for this role is $32 - $43 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
