Job Description

Your tasks:

► Mechanical development of the airbag control units with a focus on finite element simulations in dynamics.

► Integration of inertial sensors into the electronic control unit by investigating dynamic failure modes to optimize the control unit’s design.

► Perform of FE simulations in the field of dynamics and structural mechanics. Analyze results and recommend design optimization for the product development team.

► Planning and supporting resonance measurements.

► Development of simulation and measurement methods to understand and predict linear and non-linear dynamic failure modes.

► Write MatLab and Python scripts for post processing of simulation and measurement results.

Qualifications

MSc (or ongoing MSc study) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics or comparable

Solid background in modal analysis and harmonic analysis

2+ years of experience with FE simulations in Ansys

Programming skills in MatLab or Python

Negotiation-level English language skills

Having a systematic, analytic way of thinking

Attention to detail and precision in work
