Field Marketing Manager

About the company

Braintrust is building the modern platform for evaluating and deploying AI systems. Our mission is to help enterprises build trust in their AI by making it easy to test, monitor, and improve models using real-world evaluation frameworks. We work with cutting-edge customers in finance, healthcare, and tech who are building production-grade AI systems.

About the role

At Braintrust, we believe in meeting developers where they are, and creating unforgettable moments that bring our story to life. Field marketing isn’t just about event logistics. It’s about designing high-signal, high-impact experiences that engage the most innovative AI teams in the world.

We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager who’s excited to build our event and community footprint from the ground up. Someone who can dream up creative concepts, obsess over execution, and collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Demand Gen to turn events into pipeline. You’ll help shape how Braintrust shows up: at conferences, in private dinners, and in curated developer communities.

This role blends event strategy, partner coordination, and roll-up-your-sleeves execution. If you love crafting standout experiences, obsessing over details, and figuring out what actually drives results - we’d love to meet you.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute Braintrust’s event and field marketing strategy across conferences, community meetups, and hosted gatherings

  • Partner with Sales and Demand Gen to develop field campaigns that drive engagement and pipeline

  • Lead the planning and execution of sponsored and owned events: from booth presence and speaking opps to pre/post-event nurture

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to align event content with positioning and product launches

  • Manage vendor relationships, logistics, and budgets to deliver exceptional event experiences

  • Track performance of field programs and continuously optimize based on results

  • Represent Braintrust with polish and clarity, whether speaking with a developer at a booth or planning a dinner with execs

You might be a fit if:

  • You’ve run events or field marketing programs before, ideally in B2B SaaS or devtools

  • You’re highly organized and operationally excellent - you sweat the small stuff

  • You have strong instincts for brand, messaging, and experience design

  • You’re energized by working cross-functionally and thrive in startup pace

  • You think in terms of outcomes and you’re always looking to test, learn, and improve

  • You’re excited about developers, LLMs, and the future of AI infrastructure

  • You write clearly and communicate well across async, meetings, and partners

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with developer-focused audiences, ML/AI infrastructure, or early-stage GTM

  • A track record of turning field events into measurable pipeline

  • Creative chops: you’ve contributed to branding, content, or experiential design

  • Experience managing contractors, designers, or external vendors

Benefits include

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k plan

  • Daily lunch, snacks, and beverages

  • Flexible time off

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • AI Stipend
