Position Overview

As a Developer Advocate at Browserbase, you'll be the bridge between our platform and the developer community, particularly those working in AI, web automation, and data collection. You'll help shape our developer experience, create compelling technical content, and build relationships with developers across AI frameworks, browser automation tools, and web scraping communities. Your passion for teaching and advocacy will drive adoption of our headless browser platform and help developers leverage the full potential of browser automation at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developer Advocacy: Represent Browserbase at AI, automation, and web development conferences, meetups, and online events to educate developers about our platform.

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality technical content including tutorials, sample applications, and documentation that showcase integrations with Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, and AI frameworks like crewAI, Langchain, and Vercel AI SDK.

  • Integration Examples: Create demo projects showing how to use Browserbase with popular AI tools and browser automation libraries for various use cases.

  • Community Building: Foster an active and engaged developer community through forums, social media, Discord/Slack channels, and GitHub discussions.

  • Technical Feedback Loop: Gather and synthesize developer feedback to inform platform improvements and new features.

  • Educational Materials: Develop workshops, webinars, and training materials demonstrating key features like the Session Inspector, Stealth Mode, and Custom Extensions.

  • Use Case Cultivation: Identify and document innovative use cases for Browserbase in AI agent tools, workflow automation, and web scraping.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in web development, with strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Browserbase.

  • Practical experience with headless browser automation tools like Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or Stagehand.

  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools like Langchain, crewAI, or Vercel AI SDK

  • Understanding of web scraping techniques, challenges, and ethical considerations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. You like being on camera, filming videos, and are willing to dedicate your social media feeds to Browserbase.

  • Demonstrated ability to create technical content (blog posts, tutorials, documentation).

  • Public speaking experience at tech conferences, meetups, or webinars (preferred).

  • Active presence in developer communities and/or contributions to open source projects.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
