Payroll Specialist

CentraCare is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support seamless payroll operations and ensure all employees receive exceptional service. This role is integral to maintaining payroll accuracy and fostering a customer-focused environment. In this position, you will be the go-to expert for payroll inquiries via our service center portal, phone, or email as well as ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. You will also collaborate closely with HR, employees, and leaders to deliver exceptional service and resolve cases efficiently, conduct audits, manage employee timecards, and perform data corrections to maintain payroll integrity and identify training needs and provide timekeeper and employee education to promote understanding and compliance.Schedule:• Full- time | 80 hours every two weeks | Fully remote with occasional on-site meetings• Day shift | 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Monday- FridayPay & Benefits:• Starting pay begins at $21.01 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience• Pay range: $21.01 - $31.52 per hour• Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Post high school training in office procedures and equipment including computers or equivalent experience required• 1+ years of experience in payroll or a related field including accurate typing and data entry skills and numeric aptitude.• UKG and Oracle experience preferredCentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
