CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Analyst (Mid) to join a dynamic new program for one of our Federal Government clients. You will be part of a team of cyber security professionals working to improve the security posture for our client by evaluating systems and identifying and helping to mitigate cyber risks. At a high level, you will be responsible for working with the client to support the issuance of authority to operate for their systems, addressing any concerns as well as monitoring and interpreting alerts, providing remediation steps, and potentially assisting with response and recovery actions whenever/wherever appropriate.
This position is located in Washington, DC.
- Interpret incidents to understand the impact and threat mechanisms
- Own the response and remediation for alerts
- Ensure that each alert description and recommendation is clearly articulated to technical and management personnel
- Develop proper response actions as part of guided response to DOJ, in the context of a specific security incident
- Engage with DOJ to guide through a response action
- Develop possible remediation plan(s) for a specific security incident. Document as part of the playbook.
- Develop response and remediation templates
- Provide the required subject matter expertise for effective EDR implementations
- Assist with response and recovery actions when appropriate
- Document lessons learned and best practices as part of day-to-day operations and review with appropriate leadership
- Support DOJ in obtaining and maintaining ATOs and Ongoing Authorization for specified systems in their portfolio
- Support DOJ in annual continuity planning and testing
Active Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
4 years as a Security Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $169,700.00.
