Extrusion Operator

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Start pay is $17-$18 per hour 

Monday- Thursday 7-5:30 (10 hour shifts)

Day Shift 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Operating material handling equipment for grinders
  • Working at constant pace feeding parts into grinder
  • Removing weather stripping from parts
  • Processing drop-off vinyl pieces to feed grinder
  • Have or be able to obtain valid Ply Gem forklift permit
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Safety and Quality conscious
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attendance – willing and able to work overtime
  • Good arithmetic and mechanical skills
  • Works well with others in a team environment
  • Desire to teach and learn in a changing environment
