Inside Sales Representative

This position is part of the commercial team located in the United States and will be fully remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Inside Sales team and report to the manager of Inside Sales and Client Support responsible for growing research grade business with clients in the cell and gene therapy industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Uncover new business by empathizing with their pains, sharing Aldevron’s value, and building relationships based on quality and trust.
  • Support inbound client questions that come in through the website. Share capabilities, introduce account management and technical sales, and qualify opportunities.
  • Partner with account management and technical sales to grow your territory and hit your quota.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a client-facing role such as inside/field sales, customer service, or tech support
  • 1 year of experience at the lab bench with hands-on experience using DNA, RNA, or proteins

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Using a CRM such as Hubspot or Salesforce
  • An understanding of the cell and gene therapy market landscape

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.


This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
