ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.

We are currently looking for a SMEs Indirect Sales Account Manager to be responsible for all the Field Sales, B2B activities (LVB & NGB), in regards to the acquisition, monitoring and management of Small Businesses, in accordance with guidelines provided by the Sales Director, company standards, policies and procedures, through the monitoring, coordination and supervision of cooperating third parties (Indirect Sales Channel of Sales Agents).

What will you do:

  • Provide professional and proactive account management to all Partners at all times, maximizing revenues, margin and success fully closing new business.
  • Work with Face to Face Sales Partners to gain a detailed understanding of their business model, growth strategy, product portfolio, customer base and growth plans to identify new revenue opportunities across their customer base.
  • Increase the number of Face to Face Sales Partners and the number of Field Sales Representatives according to Action Plan. Evaluate all partners in a yearly basis against the predefined performance criteria, deciding for new partnerships and the existence of the current partnership.
  • Deploy new sales partners and arrange and deliver their trainings on new products/services.
  • Build strong co-operative and interdependent relationships with each Partner by building relationships based through regular and effective communication to enable Elpedison to gain preferred supplier status.
  • Provide feedback from Partners and deliver this back into Elpedison to assist with continual improvement and portfolio development.
  • Develop plans for sales (EL & NG) prospects and identifies new sales opportunities within existing partners and also maintain accurately all sales statistics and reports. Responsible for building distribution plan for new services.
  • Pursue and achieve sales targets, optimizing the allocation of assigned resources and the specific features of each partner and area. Monitor sales performance and suggests corrective actions.
  • Interface with Marketing with regards to the provision of information related to competition activity, Monitor the implementation of Marketing Initiatives and performs corrective actions.
  • Interface with Legal department with regards to the contractual processes of the assigned sales channels.
  • Interface with other departments such as Marketing, with regards to the activation of sales and trade promotions.
  • Interface with Customer Operations department, regarding the quality of sales applications provide by the sales channels and the processing of applications.

What you need in order to achieve:

  • A BSc in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or relevant discipline
  • A MSc will be considered an asset
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the services area
  • Knowledge of the Energy Sector will be considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of English
