Job Description

Experian Consumer Services is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to focus on user behavior reporting, performance updates, and deep-dive analyses. As part of the Data Science and Analytics Team, you'll translate requirements into data questions, write complex SQL queries, compile and cleanse data, analyze it, and prepare reports/dashboards. You'll provide insights into online behaviors and identify opportunities to maximize outcomes, focusing on product analytics and user behavior with our consumer app. You'll collaborate with Product, Integrated Marketing, UX, Technology, and Business Operations.

You'll bring technical expertise in data, reporting, and analytical approaches to improve business decision-making. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Analytics.

What you'll do

  • Manage SQL code for data transfer between Snowflake, AWS Redshift, S3, and other data warehouses.
  • Create tables and data pipelines using Alteryx/Apache Airflow for monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop Tableau dashboards.
  • Analyze member activity (e.g., engagement behavior, acquisition rates, communication touch points, billing persistency) to provide insights on retention and revenue.
  • Use analytical tools to understand customer behavior and improve experience (e.g., website/app user behavior, email engagement, conversion analysis, marketing effectiveness).
  • Conduct A/B testing, cohort analysis, regression analysis, and other statistical methods to uncover insights.
  • Collaborate with BI and Engineering to resolve data issues.
  • Provide dashboard solutions, identify trends/issues in data, and make recommendations.
  • Develop and implement quantitative data infrastructure to answer business questions and improve product performance.
  • Present analytical results and insights to partners to influence decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline, e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in analytics/statistics.
  • Experience in business analytics, quantitative reasoning and metrics reporting with the capacity to support claims with correlating data points.
  • Knowledge of relational database theory and proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL code.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real-time dashboard development.
  • Proficient in summarizing large data volumes and complex questions into clear, applicable insights using quantitative reasoning.
  • Experienced with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques.
  • Provide insights into online behaviors and identifying opportunities to enhance the online experience.
  • Experience with uncovering trends and spotting anomalies.
  • Understanding of traffic metrics, online user behavior tracking, pathing behavior, segmentation, and data-driven analytical thinking.

Additional Information

This is a permanent hybrid role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
