Join Filtronic as a MMIC Design Engineer where you'll be at the forefront of RF and mmWave technologies, contributing to innovative high-frequency communication solutions. Your journey will take you through designing and laying out a varied array of MMICs on substrates like GaAs, GaN, and InP, directly impacting our telecommunications and defense products. With your expertise, you'll be responsible for crafting high-performance components, including LNAs, up-converters, down-converters, gain blocks, and power amplifiers, operating within a frequency range of 37GHz to 115GHz and beyond. Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll work closely with experienced RF and systems engineers to ensure designs meet rigorous electrical performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability standards. Staying ahead in our fast-paced industry will require you to keep up with state-of-the-art knowledge through technical publications and design techniques. Your attention to detail will shine as you document and verify designs through simulation and measurement, delivering fully verified designs while managing project timelines and costs.
