As an Engineering Manager at Heard, you’ll find yourself in an inspiring role that's all about relationships and results. We’re on the lookout for a product-minded leader who’s ready to dive deep into both mentoring teams and overseeing technical implementations. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with Engineering Leadership, Product, Design, and Business teams, crafting the future of our rapidly scaling engineering organization. You'll oversee code quality through rigorous pull request reviews and ensure our systems are reliable and performant while keeping an eye on SLAs. At Heard, you’ll also prioritize the growth of your team by mentoring them, conducting 1:1s, and ensuring their professional development aligns with their career aspirations. We're all about creating a culture that champions retention and engagement, meaning you'll play a key role in keeping our team happy and motivated. You’ll work with Product Managers to ensure smooth project estimation and planning processes, while also enhancing efficiency in team processes to minimize cycle times. Your technical skills will shine through as you guide your high-performing team towards successful outcomes that resonate with our users, especially in the fintech sector. If you’re someone with a strong foundation in engineering—with at least 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager and a solid background in software engineering—we'd love to see how you can help us revolutionize the mental health industry.
