If you’re tired of the hustle and bustle of a clinical environment and wish to make a profound difference for pet families, this role is perfect for you. We understand that pets are cherished family members, and our mission is to support families through the heart-wrenching journey of saying goodbye. With generous appointment times and minimal administrative tasks, you can dedicate your time to what truly matters—building heartwarming connections with pets and their families. Our veterinarians typically manage 3-4 appointments per day, ensuring they make a meaningful impact in each family’s life. As part of our close-knit team, you’ll benefit from extensive training, ongoing mentorship, and a flexible schedule that honors your work-life balance. Many appointments occur in the comforting hours of 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to enjoy your time both at work and at home. You will be responsible for providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care while guiding families through these delicate decisions. If you have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) and 1+ years of veterinary experience, we invite you to bring your skills and compassion to our supportive environment at Heartstrings Pet Hospice.
