About the team

The Payments team within GHL is on a mission to smoothen and streamline accepting payments in the world for SMEs. We want to power SMEs with all the products and features that help them streamline payments and collect recurring revenue. We have existing native integrations with Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, Square along with third party built applications for processing payments. We support products and infrastructure like quotes/estimates, invoicing, e-commerce stores, order form checkouts, subscriptions, Text2Pay links, payment links, appointment booking payments, taxes, coupon codes, sales receipts, gift cards and more.


The Payments integrations and checkouts team is responsible for managing all our native payment integrations with above mentioned partners. This also involves enabling our developer partners to build payment solutions on top of GHL. This combines into the team’s responsibility to streamline checkouts across the platform and support multiple payment methods like cards, BNPL, bank transfer and wallet transfers across different channels. This involves identifying pain points and innovating solutions to create a bridge between any marketing activity and collecting payments out of it. The team is also responsible for tracking the overall payments processed within our system and building innovative solutions to drive more conversions for our customers.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to manage payment integrations and checkouts across the platform. This includes managing our core native integrations, enabling payment methods like bank transfers, apple pay, google pay and BNPL among others with the integrations, managing developer framework and enabling successful implementation of third party built payment apps on our platform. As a Product Manager specializing in Payment checkouts, your role would involve overseeing enablement of the payment checkout element from the core payments engine across all product areas to ensure smooth revenue collection for the business along with identifying metrics to track and measure performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and customer success to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative solutions that enable customers to streamline and optimize their business processes.

Your Responsibilities

- Establish the strategic direction and vision for HighLevel payments integration and checkouts across the platform

- Make informed decisions about product roadmaps based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize user requirements and feature enhancements

- Conduct user research, interviews, and data analysis to gather insights and identify pain points and translate user needs into clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery along with coordinating marketing efforts, and driving user adoption and engagement

- Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders, including executives and act as a subject matter expert on reports, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers

- Define and track key product metrics to evaluate product performance and drive data-driven decision-making along with monitoring customer feedback and conducting competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement


Experience:

1. You can deconstruct software products and highlight good UX from bad UX

2. Experience as a Product Manager in Payment integrations with Stripe/Razorpay or related products along with experience in the payments domain will be preferred. Not mandatory though!

3. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

Step 1: Introductions & Exploratory Call, duration 30 mins - The step aims to introduce HighLevel to you and help answer questions about our Vision, Mission, & Roadmap and get to know you better.

Step 2: Product Round - Work Experience Discussion, duration 60 mins - This round assesses your product management skills and abilities across various dimensions, such as strategic thinking, process understanding, product judgment, and problem-solving.

Step 3: Case Study Round, duration 60 mins - The goal of this is to understand your understanding of tech systems and your stakeholder management skills.

Step 4: Cultural Fitment Round, duration 60 mins - The goal is to assess cultural fit by discussing values, behaviors, traits, and other relevant aspects to ensure alignment between the candidate and the company's culture

Step 5: Compensation Communication, duration 30 minutes - This step focuses on sharing the offer details, including role, level, expectations, and compensation, based on previous discussions.
