Senior Events Marketing Manager | Platform Marketing

 As the Senior Events Marketing Manager on Platform Marketing focused on the App Marketplace & developer products, you will drive the overarching strategy for events that aid engagement from the builder audience.

This individual will develop and execute marketing strategies to drive interest and engagement before, during, and after our builder-focused events. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of event dynamics and a proven ability to manage production end-to-end to effectively engage our target audience. 

In this role, you’ll:

  • Event Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., platform marketing, events, product) to create compelling event strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Event Marketing Campaigns: Develop creative marketing strategies to ensure high levels of engagement, attendance, and participation in in-person events. Advise and support on event strategy to maximize impact and engagement.
  • Third-Party Relationships: Develop, nurture, and manage relationships with third-party vendors, event partners, and exhibitors.
  • Builder Experience Strategy: Help drive the strategy for builder experience at large-scale events in partnership with lead PMMs. Run virtual events or "Code Jams" for partners to engage the builder community
  • On-site Event Coordination: Collaborate with the event production team when necessary to ensure alignment and smooth execution of events and run events on the ground.
  • Pre&Post-Event Marketing: Registration, NPS, etc.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Measure and analyze the success of event marketing efforts to inform future strategies.

We are looking for people who have:

  • 4-6 years in event marketing or a related field, with a strong emphasis on production and/or marketing for a tech company.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • An owner’s mindset; with high personal accountability - able to work independently to drive projects.
  • Coachable/self-aware &  able to represent HubSpot at events with professionalism.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience supporting ecosystem partners with events (like builders or app partners).
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

 




Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
