The Chief of Staff acts as a strategic partner and right-hand to the CEO and CFO. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams, and enabling efficient decision-making. The CoS will provide oversight of key projects, manage executive-level priorities, and serve as a critical liaison between leadership and other stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with the CEO, CFO and leadership team to define and execute the company’s strategic initiatives.
Lead the development of quarterly and annual business objectives and priorities.
Track progress against strategic goals and identify areas needing attention or recalibration.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Facilitate Operational team meetings, including agenda setting, documentation, and follow-ups.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Act as a liaison between the CEO/CFO and various teams to align efforts across departments.
Drive communication and collaboration on company-wide initiatives, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Oversee and manage key projects and special initiatives as assigned by the CEO and CFO.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Gather and analyze data to inform leadership decisions, including metrics related to performance, productivity, and growth.
Develop presentations and reports to communicate insights, progress, and updates to stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Culture:
Mentor and support high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Champion company values and work closely with HR to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Stakeholder Management:
Prepare for and manage communications related to key meetings, presentations, and events.
8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or a similar role; prior experience in a fin tech company is preferred.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects,
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and working collaboratively across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Demonstrated experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions that drive business impact.
Strong analytical abilities with data driven mindset
Proficiency in productivity tools (PM software, spreadsheets, presentations)
High level of emotional intelligence and discretion
Bachelor’s degree required
