The Role

The Chief of Staff acts as a strategic partner and right-hand to the CEO and CFO. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams, and enabling efficient decision-making. The CoS will provide oversight of key projects, manage executive-level priorities, and serve as a critical liaison between leadership and other stakeholders.

Location

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

What You'll Do

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution: 

    • Collaborate with the CEO, CFO and leadership team to define and execute the company’s strategic initiatives.

    • Lead the development of quarterly and annual business objectives and priorities.

    • Track progress against strategic goals and identify areas needing attention or recalibration.

  2. Operational Efficiency:

    • Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.

    • Facilitate Operational team meetings, including agenda setting, documentation, and follow-ups.

  3. Cross-functional Coordination:

    • Act as a liaison between the CEO/CFO and various teams to align efforts across departments.

    • Drive communication and collaboration on company-wide initiatives, ensuring clarity and accountability.

    • Oversee and manage key projects and special initiatives as assigned by the CEO and CFO.

  4. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Gather and analyze data to inform leadership decisions, including metrics related to performance, productivity, and growth.

    • Develop presentations and reports to communicate insights, progress, and updates to stakeholders.

  5. Team Leadership & Culture:

    • Mentor and support high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

    • Champion company values and work closely with HR to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.

  6. Stakeholder Management:

    • Prepare for and manage communications related to key meetings, presentations, and events.

What We Look For

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or a similar role; prior experience in a fin tech company is preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, 

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and working collaboratively across departments.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions that drive business impact.

  • Strong analytical abilities with data driven mindset

  • Proficiency in productivity tools (PM software, spreadsheets, presentations)

  • High level of emotional intelligence and discretion

  • Bachelor’s degree required
