If you have over 4 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in transit projects, and are eager to dive into exciting challenges such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) designs, this role is calling your name. At Kimley-Horn, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transit systems while ensuring a high level of coordination among multiple disciplines. Your responsibilities will involve everything from corridor concept development to assisting in public outreach and conducting thorough transit evaluations. This position emphasizes the importance of strong communication and organizational skills, so being an outgoing and self-motivated team player is key. Additionally, a Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or the ability to obtain one within 12 months) is essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. You’ll also need to bring your transit corridor design experience and expertise in track/guideway, roadway, and station design to the table.
