Lighting Engineer- Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

Job Summary:

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is the ultimate night out, with its groundbreaking integration of premiere music, 19 lanes of bowling, bars featuring locally crafted beers and food.

We are seeking Lighting Engineers available to pick up 2-3 shifts a week. Pay is hourly/W2. Must be a good hang, positive attitude, team player. Good gig to learn on, or to supplement income of someone wanting to be home more. Low stress, relaxed, great team in place, great environment. Hours will vary, (including nights, weekends and holidays).

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

·       Assist set up and break-down of tour lighting packages

·       Focus and lighting adjustments to artist or event specifications

·       Strong Experience on Lighting Console operation and programming on a GrandMA 2 or 3. House file MA2. House console is GrandMA 3 Lite. 

·       Maintain and repair of lighting equipment a plus    

·       Accommodate artist/ event A/V requirements

·       Responsible for safe and consistent operation of lighting

·       Assist with the technical advance with Artists representatives

·       Ensure proper care and handling of all BB and rental lighting & A/V equipment 

·        Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show

·        Ensure Special Events lighting needs are scheduled and met

·       Assist with Production throughout the house as needed

  

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years minimum as LD with Touring, Venue, and/or Stage Production experience

  • Experience in stage lighting, punting a live show, network configuration, pro audio systems and basic video systems

  • Strong knowledge of networking configurations for tie-ing in guest consoles to house systems / house nodes. 

  • Experienced and strong knowledge of tie-ing in 3 phase power for guest distros. House has 200 amp camlock service SL. 400 amp camlock service SR. 

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs - 100lbs

  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level, extreme lighting changes, strobes & moving lights

  • Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift
