Customs Operations Leadership:
Operational Excellence: Ensure high-quality execution of customs processes in line with SOP/SLA, manage performance, and support customer onboarding.
Continuous Improvement: Drive standardization, transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining business continuity plans.
Engagement and Capability Building: Build a high-performing team, ensure the right capabilities, attract and develop talent, and create an empowering work environment.
Compliance and Issue Resolution: Implement and ensure compliance with local customs requirements, align with global objectives, and establish mechanisms for quick issue resolution.
Cost and Capacity Management: Accountable for cost to serve on site, ensure operational capacity meets demand, and manage relevant metrics to track performance.
Site Leadership:
Anchor the Site Leadership Community: Build and lead a cohesive site leadership team, facilitating key decisions and representing Maersk in external forums.
Safety, Crisis Management, and Compliance: Oversee site security, BCP, and lead crisis management, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Employee Engagement: Oversee Connection survey results, site events, and collaborate with People Function and other teams to enhance engagement.
Cost Management: Manage site costs, capacity planning, and collaborate on strategies for key cost indicators.
Other Responsibilities: Provide guidance to site-based leaders and establish strong partnerships with Regional LTs.
