This is a hybrid position based out of San Francisco, CA.
We’re seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing initiatives at Modern Treasury. In this role, you’ll drive strategy and execution across multiple digital channels to accelerate pipeline growth and build market awareness.
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own the strategic direction of our digital marketing programs while providing hands-on leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with product marketing, web engineering, and sales to create integrated campaigns that drive measurable business results. This role reports to the Head of Growth & Integrated Marketing and is based in San Francisco
What you’ll do:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with company objectives
Create quarterly roadmaps for growth initiatives and campaign optimizations
Partner with leadership to identify new growth opportunities and expansion channels
Performance Marketing
Lead paid channel strategy across LinkedIn, Google, industry publications, and emerging platforms
Optimize campaign performance to continuously improve pipeline metrics
Implement attribution model to understand channel effectiveness
Website Management & CRO
Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives across all digital platforms
Implement and analyze A/B testing program to continuously improve user experience
Collaborate with design and development teams on website enhancements
Ensure the website effectively supports marketing campaigns and business objectives
Monitor site performance metrics and implement improvements
Digital Experience & SEO
Direct SEO initiatives to drive qualified organic traffic and improve search rankings
Develop and execute technical SEO roadmap.
Partner with the content team to create SEO-driven content that converts technical audiences
Build measurement frameworks to track SEO performance and content effectiveness.
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop a growth marketer
Manage external agency relationships and freelance resources

WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:
Onboard with our marketing team and key stakeholders across the organization
Conduct a deep-dive review of our growth marketing tech stack, campaigns, and performance metrics
Analyze customer calls and interviews to understand our target personas and their payment challenges
Review our competitor landscape and current market positioning
Assess current website performance, conversion points, and analytics setup
During your first six weeks you will:
Develop and present a comprehensive growth marketing strategy, including channel mix and budget allocation
Perform an SEO audit and identify quick wins for technical and content optimization
Conduct a website CRO assessment and prioritize optimization opportunities
Create a testing framework for systematically improving conversion rates
Build the quarterly growth experimentation roadmap in collaboration with your Digital Marketer
Evaluate our current attribution model and recommend improvements
Establish performance dashboards and reporting structure for growth initiatives
During your first twelve weeks, you will:
Launch your first major website optimization initiative with measurable impact on conversion
Implement your revised paid media strategy across channels with clear performance benchmarks
Present your SEO roadmap with prioritized initiatives for the next two quarters
Develop an integrated digital campaign strategy that aligns with field marketing efforts
Begin optimizing the marketing technology stack based on identified needs
Establish regular growth reviews with executive leadership showcasing key metrics and learnings
Create a detailed growth plan for the remainder of the year with clear KPIs and resource requirements
