Senior Marketing Automation Specialist

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist, you will understand our needs and lead marketing automation projects using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot, creating data-driven campaigns, and personalizing customer experiences through dynamic email content. You will use your expertise in SQL and AMPscript to build email campaigns that align with the customer and prospect lifecycle journey to support our overall marketing strategy. You will also use your technical expertise to support the Marketing/Sales teams with daily activities like lead collection, lead routing, lead nurturing, reporting, and custom technology integrations into Sales Cloud.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Develop, execute, and optimize marketing automation workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot to engage customers at different stages of their lifecycle.
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and segment customer data from several sources for targeted campaigns.
  • Build dynamic, personalized email templates using AMPscript to enhance user engagement based on customer behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, design, and analytics, to develop solutions to meet project needs, including lead capture, scoring and nurture programs, and ensuring email content is aligned with customer segments and journey stages
  • Participate in agile delivery activities such as design, build, QA, and continuous improvement and maintain documentation per requirements of department document management procedures.
  • Optimize email campaigns by analyzing performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and implementing improvements based on data insights.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent digital marketing experience is required.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and hands-on experience with email marketing automation is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data pulls, segmentation, and creating complex queries to support campaign personalization is required.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with AMPscript to build dynamic and personalized email content is required.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM integration with Marketing Cloud.
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle journey and how to design and execute campaigns that align with different touchpoints in the customer experience.
  • Experience with A/B testing, lead scoring and campaign optimization strategies.

  • 1+ years of experience with Pardot
