About the role

Join us as a Commercial Growth Account Executive! In this role, you'll manage the complete sales process and drive revenue growth in your assigned region. We're looking for a dedicated and driven individual with a sales strategy and a go-getter attitude. Hard work, enthusiasm, and initiative are highly valued. 

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Austin or Boston for our hybrid working model.

What you will be doing

  • Proactively, identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline 
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & developers
  • Become a product expert and understand all components of MongoDB
  • Manage your time efficiently 
  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Partner with our Solution Architects and work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs

What you bring to the table

  • 1-3 years of full-cycle quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue within existing accounts and generate qualified pipeline
  • A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions
  • Fluent in English
  • Must live in territory (Austin, TX or Boston, MA)
  • Driven and competitive. Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Familiarity with databases, develops and open source technology a plus

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.
