Community Solar Allocations Analyst

Position Summary

Nautilus Solar Energy’s (“NSE”) Allocation Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of community solar project capacity to residential and commercial customers. The analyst will be responsible for project set up and maintenance on the Nautilus platform and utility platforms. In addition, this person is responsible for monitoring available capacity on new and operational projects and communicating subscription needs to the sales team. This position reports to the Operations Manager. This position is salaried full-time, 40 hours per week. It is currently remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Community solar project set up on Nautilus platform.
    • Complete project input form.
    • Maintain COD dates, kWh production and system size information.
  • Monitor and review new and active customer allocations on the Nautilus platform.
  • Review, update and process utility allocation reports on a monthly basis.
    • Ensure past due customer accounts are not on current allocation submittals.
  • Process all allocation related paperwork as required by utilities.
  • Approve dropped allocation requests.
  • Track customer turnover pre-COD, start up and stabilized.
  • Coordinate with AR team in the application of banked credits.
  • Update monthly management reports.
  • Other tasks assigned by manager.
  • College degree: Accounting or Business majors preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on different timelines.
  • Knowledge of business development and sales strategies.
  • Awareness of and interest in renewable energy preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, word, power point
  • Possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
