Senior Manager, FP&A

The Sr. Manager, FP&A will play a critical role in Nium's success, driving core aspects of our financial planning as well as management reporting with the opportunity to take on strategic initiatives to support our ambitious growth objectives. 


Responsibilities
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. 
  • Support the long-term financial model across multiple products and countries. 
  • Analyzing trends in financial results, monitoring key performance indicators to identify variances and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Providing recommendations to senior management on how to generate revenue, reduce costs, and improve operations. 
  • Undertake strategic finance projects to improve company performance. 
  • Support the management team and departmental leaders with data-driven analysis. 
  • Own budget vs actuals analysis with leaders in multiple jurisdictions. 
  • Own management, investor, and board reporting and analysis. 
  • Assist in M&A modeling and other ad hoc analysis as needed. 


Qualifications
  • 6+ years relevant Finance and FP&A experience. 
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate FP&A at a technology company. 
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills, partnering across the Finance team and with external business stakeholders. 
  • Excellent excel and modeling skills, as well as utilizing FP&A software. 
  • Highly analytical and able to financially operationalize activities.
  • Strong individual contributor with support from a team of financial and data analysts. 
  • Able to thrive in a high growth environment. 
  • Proactive mindset and bias toward action. 
  • Ability to work with a global team across time zones, and familiar with dispersed workforce and multi-cultural environment. 
  • Experience working for a mid to late stage FinTech company (payments company) a major plus.
