• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts paya-ble, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts on a regular basis, including project finances and progress reports.
• Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, including fil-ings with BIR
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position
• Graduate with a BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards and tax regulation/laws.
• Working experience in handling general accounting and reporting and tax management.
• Strong leadership with skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management ac-counting.
• With proven work experience as an Accounting Manager in the chemical trading and rental indus-try.
