Partnerships Lead

The company you'll join

Investing in private equity or venture capital should be as easy as buying a stock on Robinhood but it isn’t. Instead of purchasing investments in a few clicks, investors fill out 200+ page forms.

Passthrough simplifies investor onboarding, fund closing, and compliance with workflows that guide investors through only what applies to them and once they’ve invested, we save their information to create a reusable investor profile—so the next investment is even faster.

Since launching in 2020, we’ve processed tens of billions of dollars and helped 50K+ investors complete documents in as short as 2 minutes. We’re making an outdated, manual process into something modern, simple, and built for scale.

The impact you’ll have

Partnerships are the cornerstone of our go-to-market motion. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, Partnerships Lead will help drive strategic and operational initiatives across all partner channels, and throughout the organization. This role will work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders (including our partners, their customers, and the rest of the Passthrough team) to activate, optimize, and scale the growth, experience, and success of our partners.

The problems you’ll solve

  • Become an expert in how and why our partners work with us. Identify and evaluate mutually-beneficial opportunities to increase partner engagement, revenue, and product usage.

  • Work with our partners to create and launch implementation and activation plans for a joint Passthrough-partner solution to generate pipeline and expansion opportunities.

  • Drive the development and ongoing maintenance of partner enablement and engagement strategies, processes, and materials in connection with our partnership strategy.

  • Work cross-functionally with both internal and external teams with the insights, messaging, frameworks, tools, and processes required to drive successful outcomes.

  • Build, refine, and maintain the reporting methodologies and documentation approach, inclusive of both internal and external playbooks, frameworks, and dashboards.

  • Perform ongoing and ad-hoc data analysis to inform decision-making and prioritization efforts for both the company and the team. Work directly with leadership to define KPIs, success metrics, and prioritization for various team and company initiatives, campaigns, goals, and targets.

The qualifications we’re looking for*

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or other related disciplines.

  • You have a proven track record of driving growth within an organization, and ideally have experience working with complex, strategic or enterprise accounts with numerous stakeholders and multiple workstreams.

  • You have experience creating, launching, and maintaining processes, programs, and content used by both internal and external teams.

  • You take extreme ownership over projects and initiatives you lead. You can seamlessly manage multiple competing priorities and have experience exercising creativity when met with difficult constraints or limited resources.

  • You possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. You know how to build and manage relationships both tactically and strategically and can effectively communicate complex ideas.

  • You’ve had success working cross-functionally with different stakeholders and team members in a wide range of roles, and you’re comfortable engaging and influencing various levels of decision makers and stakeholders, ranging from technical teams to executive teams.

Bonus points

  • You’re familiar with the alternative investment industry and understand key players, trends, and processes, specifically related to back-office operations and technology

  • You’ve previously worked for an early-stage company and have first-hand experience with fast-paced and ever-changing startup environments

  • You have experience working with B2B2B products and organizations

*Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Passthrough, we believe that high-performing teams include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can challenge each other's assumptions with fresh perspectives. If you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply.

Our process is designed to learn as much about each candidate as possible, and give you access to our team so you can learn about what it's like to work at Passthrough.
