The candidate needs to be a self-starter, smart, and a highly motivated team player with effective communication skills. In addition, the candidate must value producing quality software and have a solid grounding a strong technical background and good communication skills. Candidates are requird to work at client work location either of the client locations, New York, NY. Job Level: Senior Level Product Designer & Researcher

 

Role and Responsibilities:The candidate will support driving long-term strategy, planning and innovation for Finance IT division in the User experience (UX) space that will have significant impact on the future. The candidate will work with multiple constituents across Finance technology division and business units.

 

The newly formed horizontal UX group takes ownership of one or more work streams across Finance division, performs detail analysis and contributes recommendations for UX/UI strategy development in terms of tools, design, processes, workflows etc. The role will provide Finance wide U/X Governance to various development teams and helping them to converge and adopt onto a single reporting look and feel. The group also engineers and governs strategic design across the entire legacy and new applications to have a common user experience and technology stack across the entire division.

We are looking for a UX Designer to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

The remit is to improve UX interface for specific applications as well as drive the division towards a unified UX interface strategy.

 

 

Skills Required:

  • Understanding end to product development – Systems design, User journey, User flows
  • Strong problem solver and out of the box thinker
  • creating data visualizations background from UX perspective like data analytics are created by dev team with visualizations
  • Deep understanding of user psychology, UX laws and Interaction design
  • Strong experience in working with varied design patterns and aesthetically pleasing designs.
  • In UX design, data visualization translates complex data into clear, concise visuals (charts, graphs, etc.) to enhance user understanding, improve decision-making, and drive engagement. 
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative person : Working with product owners, developers, end users and senior management.
  • Excellent design selling / articulation skills of product designs to wider stakeholders
  • Complete demonstration of user research methodologies (When to use & what to use)
  • Proficient is design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Basic animation techniques (Design and prototype in figma)
  • Infographics designs
  • Creative graphic designs
  • Strong data Visualization designs – Highly recommended.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and other data analytical tool is a plus
  • Excellent documentation of design deliverables & user research.
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
  • Create personas through user research
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Background in project management and research
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Bachelor or master degree in design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
