Manager Radiation Therapy

Oversees the functions in the Radiation/Oncology Department, ensuring established procedures and policies are followed.  Delivers prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population  (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:

  • One year Radiation Therapy program. Or
  • Licensure from a 2-4 year Radiation Therapy program.
  • upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification. Or
  • upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
  • 5 years Clinical Radiation Therapy experience.
  • 3 years Radiation Therapy technical supervisory experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Computer background (i.e., spreadsheets, word processing).
  • Some business background (i.e., budget preparation, cost containment, medical insurance, etc.).
