HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

Responsibilities

  • The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operation of the Human Resources Department.
  • Daily tasks will include:
    • Reviewing Personnel Action Forms for completeness and accuracy and resolving discrepancies
    • Handling HRIS data entry administration as it pertains to hires, terminations, transfers, licensing, promotions, pay increases, performance reviews, etc.
    • Pulling reports and performing audits of HRIS system to ensure accuracy in the inputting of data
    • Running and distributing weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, as necessary
  • Additional tasks will include:
    • Assisting with benefits and leave of absence administration
    • Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
    • Employee and Labor Relations
    • Compensation / Licensing Administration
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • General knowledge of State, Federal and HR laws, practices, and policies.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality / professional discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Motivated self-starter, confident and able to navigate through change.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work, execute flawlessly and understand HR processes.
