The Job:   

As a Product Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to: 

  • Define and implement product strategies for the Batteries and Chargers of our cordless systems.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and positioning.
  • Develop technical expertise in lithium-ion battery cell technologies.
  • Work closely with engineering, category management, marketing, and sales teams to bring new products to market, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business impact and customer value.
  • Assist category and marketing teams in the creation of marketing materials and sales tools, including product specifications, presentations, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to recommend adjustments to product line strategies.
  • Support the management of the product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life, including SKU rationalization and inventory management.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve product-related issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the power tools, hardware, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $60,800 - $109,400 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
