As a part of the Maintenance Team, the Reliability Engineer role will empower you to conduct reliability centred maintenance and optimize preventive maintenance strategy to ensure safe operations in collaboration with Sibelco plant maintenance, production and engineering teams.
Your Impact in This Role
As a Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead and ensure execution of reliability excellence/maintenance programs.
Rank the criticality of the assets using reliability-centred Maintenance approaches and define proactive maintenance approaches that are cost-beneficial to the business.
Analyse equipment failure data patterns and interpret ERP PM maintenance data to generate priorities and action lists for improving reliability of site.
Identify and implement predictive maintenance technologies.
What You Bring to the Table
Previous experience in mechanics or electronics.
Minimum 5 years of mechanical or electrical engineering experience, including experience with mechanical design/testing, international quality standards or Minimum 5 years of utility systems/management and/or facilities/plant management and maintenance.
Experience in the Mining industry is preferred.
Certified Plant Engineer or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.
Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
