Records Management Intern

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing, filing, and retrieving records, both physical and electronic. 

  • Scan documents and other records to create digital archives.

  • Enter information into records management systems and databases. 

  • Support special projects related to records management, such as data migration or records retention. 

  • Classifying and filing documents according to established procedures.

  • Assisting with the disposal of records in accordance with established procedures. 

  • Regularly traveling to our off-site warehouse in Jersey City for large-scale archive reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

  • Some experience in records management or related fields is a plus.

  • Some heavy lifting required.

This is a part time position, 2 days per week in our SOM New York Office. Compensation for this role is $23.00/hour.
