Job Description:

Position Summary:

This Coordinator role is responsible to direct the completion of all daily inventory control tasks on a specific shift.  Lead is well versed in systems used by Inventory Control.  Lead to assist when Supervisor/Manager is unavailable.

Here’s what you’ll do: 

  • In addition to all Clerk 2 responsibilities, Coordinator 3 will perform Manager/Supervisor duties during absence.  For example, balance on hand (BOH) syncs, attend weekly meetings, Mgr/Spvr reporting signoffs.
  • Ensure all documents are completed and filed according to inventory control policy.
  • Coordinator 3 will align inventory control tasks to staff. 
  • Coordinator 3 will perform all aspects of training Inventory control associates.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 
  • One year of relevant job experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong organization, problem-solving and time management skills.  
  • Extensive knowledge of WMS system and use in all formats.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to lead and motivate team to meet deadlines.  
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).

 

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and/or move 20 pounds. The associate is frequently required to sit/stand/walk. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. Temperatures may vary for those subject to any of the following areas: computer/server room, print shop, production area). The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
