Position Summary:
This role is responsible to support the Inventory Control functions to assure inventory accuracy within the facility. These responsibilities include inventory counting, product attribute maintenance, maintaining product dating standards, outbound pallet auditing, and facilitating slot placement of items in the warehouse.

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge as an Inventory Control Clerk at SpartanNash in Omaha, Nebraska? In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our inventory is accurate and organized, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional food solutions. Working from Monday to Friday, 4:30 am to 2:00 pm, you'll support our distribution center by counting inventory, auditing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate product records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Collaboration is key here! You’ll coordinate with various departments—like Buying, Accounting, Shipping, and Receiving—to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll also take charge of preparing inventory reports, monitoring product slotting for operational efficiency, and communicating any discrepancies to the Inventory Supervisor swiftly. If you’re detail-oriented, have solid math and problem-solving skills, and enjoy working both in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you! A high school diploma or GED is essential, along with some prior warehouse experience. Being comfortable with basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, will help you thrive in this position.
