As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team and lead our efforts to bring solar power to even more homes in Portland.

Position Overview: As the Sales Manager at Suntria, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our residential solar sales division. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing industry and make a positive impact in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Immediate hiring need: Recruit and manage 2 closers and 5 setters for the team right away
  • Develop and execute a plan to expand the team to 20 setters and 5 closers within 6 months
  • Implement and refine sales processes to align with both market-specific needs and company-wide goals
  • Company-provided resources to build and scale the sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Deeply understand Oregon’s solar policies, regulations, and incentive structures to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable and compliant
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and potential sales channels
  • Monitor sales performance, provide ongoing feedback, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure goals are met
  • Represent Suntria at local networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the brand and generate leads
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest solar energy trends and products to remain competitive in the market
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, preferably in the home improvement, renewable energy, or solar industry
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Experience managing a growing team: Ability to recruit, train, and scale a high-performance sales team
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success
  • Deep knowledge of Oregon’s solar policies, regulations, and incentive structures
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
