Job Title: Data Center Technician

Positions Available: 2 Leads, 12 Level 2 Data Center Technicians, and 12 Level 3 Data Center Technicians

Location: Goodyear, Arizona

Compensation: $25-35/hr based on experience

Job Description:

Our client is looking to hire Intermediate Level IT professionals who are eager to work in a dynamic Data Center environment. We are seeking individuals with a strong passion for technology and computer hardware.

Role Overview:

As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for physical upgrades, implementation, optimizations, and troubleshooting onsite at the data center. You will deploy circuit boards, troubleshoot related issues, run diagnostics, create documentation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal or no supervision.
  • Support data center operations and IT systems, network services, and business-critical processes to ensure the delivery of customer products and services.
  • Provide technical and operational support, including colocation, connectivity, and network products and services.
  • Maintain internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephone systems.
  • Install and deploy IT and network hardware.
  • Create and run patch cables, and verify testing cable paths.
  • Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services, including break-fix work.
  • Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level (Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience)

What needs to be on the resume: clearly articulate the work you've done within data centers, any rack and stack, break-fix, server support, cabling within data centers, types of cables (cat5, cat6, etc)

o A Side days: Sun-Wed every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

o B Side days: Wed-Sat every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

o A Side nights: Sun-Wed every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

o B Side nights: Wed-Sat every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
