As a #1/Lead Bindery Operator, your main job will be to oversee the production line and crew to ensure our Core Publishing Solutions team consistently delivers high-quality products. You'll start your day bright and early at 6:30 am and wrap things up by 2:30 pm, with the possibility of some overtime or weekend shifts to meet demand. In this leadership role, you'll not only direct and train crew members, but also contribute to important discussions like Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walks, aimed at fostering communication and driving process improvements. We’re all about teamwork here, so motivating others and cultivating a strong team environment will also be key parts of your job. We’re looking for candidates with a High School diploma or GED, and if you have a technical degree, that’s a bonus! Experience in leading and training in an industrial setting with various production machinery is crucial, as well as strong mechanical skills. With a focus on continuous improvement, good communication, and the ability to interpret operating instructions, you'll play an integral part in our operations.
