Business Systems Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst at Trinetix, your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Development and Design teams, managing requirements throughout all project phases, and organizing requirements documentation and the product backlog. You'll also validate mockups with the Design Team and participate in project coordination, which covers estimation, planning, and execution control. Additionally, you'll take part in daily Scrum meetings and prepare and conduct Demo meetings, ensuring everything aligns with our project's objectives.

To qualify for the Business Systems Analyst position at Trinetix, you should have at least 3 years of experience in business analysis within the IT sector, having worked on at least two different projects. A strong understanding of business and systems analysis theory is essential, along with familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and SAFe methodologies. You must also have advanced English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

When gathering requirements as a Business Systems Analyst, I focus on engaging with both stakeholders and end-users through interviews, surveys, and observation. By understanding their needs and expectations, I can document clear and actionable requirements, ensuring that they align with project goals and educate the development team effectively.

Prioritizing competing requirements involves careful analysis of each requirement's impact on the project's success and the value it brings to the end-users. I often employ prioritization techniques such as MoSCoW (Must have, Should have, Could have, and Won't have) to categorize them, facilitating discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities.

I utilize various tools for documentation and project management, such as JIRA for Agile project management and Confluence for maintaining documentation. Additionally, I leverage diagramming tools like Lucidchart to visualize processes, which aids in communicating complex information clearly with my teams.

In a previous project, conflicting requirements from different stakeholders led to delays. I organized a requirements review session, encouraging open communication to align everyone's expectations.
