Summary of Job Duties:

This position is a Summer Intern responsible for collaborating with faculty on scholarship and reporting.


Qualifications:

High School diploma/GED required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in literature searches using publication indexes (eg, PubMed or Philosopher’s Index), Excel (pivot tables/charts), Power BI, or other data visualization tools.

  • Ability to translate data findings into actionable insights.

  • Professional written and verbal communication and the ability to present data findings in a clear and concise manner.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Research support for faculty scholarship—including literature searches, publication formatting, proofreading.
  • Write brief synopses of scholarly literature and published research.
  • Analyze reporting data from the clinical ethics consultation database.
  • Develop new reports for quality improvement of the service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned..


Salary Information:

$15.00 an hour
