An intern position in the Supply Chain Group at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems offers you the opportunity to be continually challenged and immersed in an Supply Chain environment. Complete a 3-month assignment learning the role of a "buyer" in a defense contract environment.
This role will require the support and observation of creating and issuing solicitation packages, evaluation of quotes from suppliers, performing price analysis, and creating Purchase Orders/long term contracts in the ERP Procurement system.
The supply chain intern will work closely with the Supply Chain Management leadership and various Subcontract Managers assisting with implementation of new metric reports and may require analyzing data, performing data entry, and assembling reports.
The intern may be required to travel between site locations in Williston, VT and Saco, ME.
The candidate shall be entering their Junior and/or Senior year in 2025 and attending school for a bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, supply chain, logistics, or a technical field such as engineering.
