They are currently looking for a Question Developer for Canadian Derivatives Exams.
As a Question Developer, you will:
• Develop high-quality exam content (approximately 12-15 days of effort from May 1 to June 30, 2025) including:
o Writing up to 200 questions following industry standards and guidance provided
o Reviewing other SME’s questions and recommending revisions as needed
o Revising questions as needed based on recommendations provided
• Understand the competency profile provided by the Client
To be successful in this role, you need:
• Deep Knowledge of Canadian Financial Services specifically, in derivatives including comprehensive understanding of the regulations, markets, and key roles.
• Experience working in the Canadian Financial Services industry specifically, in a Derivatives Specialist Approved Person role.
• Understanding Exam Governance (structures, processes, requirements) including familiarity with sitting professional exams.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience writing high-quality, accurate exam content with a focus on competency-based assessment for the Canadian Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge of professional or regulatory examinations and their purpose within the context of competency-based assessments.
• Experience in contributing to professional or regulatory exam content.
The individual must be willing to sign a Terms and Conditions Agreement which includes attesting to the following specific to the exam(s) they will be working on:
• You are not currently employed and/or contracted in the design, development and/or delivery of training and/or materials to prepare individuals to sit the exam(s).
• You will not be involved in the design, development and/or delivery of training and/or materials to prepare individuals to sit the exam(s) until 2 years have passed after the exam(s) has been made public.
• You will not sit the exam(s) until 2 years have passed after the exam(s) has been made public
