We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sales to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, building strong client relationships, and expanding Thatcher’s market presence within the Direct Selling industry.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the direct selling space, a deep understanding of value-based selling, and a track record of driving consistent revenue growth. This is a remote role, but travel will be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Direct Selling industry, leveraging market insights and industry relationships.
Value Selling: Champion a value-based selling approach, ensuring clients understand the full impact of Thatcher’s technology solutions on their business.
Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets, aligning sales efforts with company goals.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers in Direct Selling organizations.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team as needed to support business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Industry Presence: Represent Thatcher at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen market positioning.
Sales Operations: Implement sales tools, CRM best practices, and performance tracking metrics to optimize sales effectiveness.
Direct Selling Expertise: Mandatory experience working within the Direct Selling industry.
Sales Leadership: 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, driving revenue in a B2B technology environment.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in value-based selling, closing large enterprise deals, and exceeding sales targets.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals.
Excellent Communicator: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
CRM & Sales Tools: Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend conferences, and support business growth.
