TITLE: Part-Time Controller

STRUCTURE: Remote (Western US) | Approx. 20 hours/week

The Controller manages all accounting, ensures GAAP compliance, and maintains internal controls. They lead financial close, reporting, tax, and audits, supporting company growth. CPA with SaaS/tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Manage financial close, reporting (GAAP), and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and internal controls.
  • Lead tax and regulatory filings.

Accounting & Operations:

  • Oversee GL, AP, AR, and revenue accounting.
  • Drive process automation and system improvements (QuickBooks).
  • Manage cash flow and working capital.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to leadership.
  • CPA (active preferred).
  • 8+ years accounting, reporting, and compliance experience (Senior/Assistant Controller level).
  • Expert in GAAP, ASC 606, multi-entity accounting.
