Job Description:
A vacancy for a Senior Mission Simulation Engineer for maritime patrol has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join Engineering Department.
The successfull candidate will be building and manufacturing maritime patrol simulators for Medium & Light Airbus family aircrafts. They will have the opportunity to join a high qualified team and develop yourself participating in the implementation of advanced technologies for maritime patrol. The position is connected with international teams and external companies in the leading edge of the maritime patrol bussines. Possibility to grow as this demanding capabilities could be extended to other Airbus family products.
Main responsabilities:
- Operate considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.
- Deliver safe systems which minimize operational costs and maximize performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle
- Work in close collaboration with national / trans-national stakeholders and multi-functional teams and to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
- Willigness to listen (customer needs-minded) and to challenge (improvement, Right First Time & efficiency focused)
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
CI/CD (jenkins pipelines)
Experience in Unit Testing and test-driven development methods (GTest)
Experience with C++ linter tools (clang)
Qt and QML
Carmenta
Desired knowledge of flight mission operation
Languages: Negotiation level of Spanish and English. German/French/Italian is considered a plus
